Professional and Education Background
I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Central Michigan University and a Master of Social Work from Texas A&M Commerce. I have been in the social work field for over 15 years. I have experience working with nonprofits, hospitals, community agencies, state agencies, and schools. During my time at a nonprofit, I worked with various age groups ranging from young children to older adult population. I led and trained a team of case managers. I provided case management services, and individual and group therapy sessions with at-risk individuals.
Outside of my professional life
I enjoy playing the guitar, crafting with my Cricut machine, creating artwork with various mediums, and trying new things. I enjoy spending time with my 2 children, watching funny shows, and going out to eat with family and friends.
